Man Utd discuss internally about Benjamin Sesko
Manchester United have discussed internally about a potential move for former Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Slovenian was a top target for the Gunners earlier this summer, but they pulled out of negotiations after failing to find an agreement with RB Leipzig.
Arsenal went on to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, but Sesko could still end up in the Premier League with interest from several other clubs.
Newcastle United have made concrete contact with the player's camp and could make an official offer if they receive the green light from Sesko.
Romano has now revealed that United have also discussed internally about a possible move for the marksman, but no official approach has been made.
United are keen on bolstering the frontline ahead of next season and they are determined to find an upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Sesko would be a brilliant buy, but he won't come on the cheap. It could take at least €80 million to convince Leipzig to sanction his departure.
