Saudi giants make contact to sign Liverpool striker
Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have established contact with Liverpool to sign striker Darwin Nunez, according to David Ornstein
The Uruguay international was on the radar of Saudi clubs at the start of the year, but he was denied a transfer by the Merseyside outfit.
Nunez was disappointed with the decision at that time, but he is now expected to get his wish with the Reds lining up a replacement for him.
Al-Hilal have started talks with Liverpool and the striker. A transfer could be formalised once the Reds secure a deal for his successor.
The Premier League champions are keen on landing Newcastle United's Alexander Isak as his replacement in a club-record transfer.
Newcastle have not opened the door for the Swede's exit, but the situation could change completely as they are exploring a replacement too.
An opening bid has been made for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. A deal for the Slovenian could see Isak move to Liverpool and Nunez to Al-Hilal.
