West Ham make £45m offer to sign Andrey Santos

West Ham United have made a £45 million offer to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos this summer.

Santos spent the previous season on loan with Strasbourg where he made a big impression from the centre of the park.

The Brazilian managed 17 goal contributions for the French outfit and also caught the eye with his defensive traits.

The Hammers are keen to sign him as a replacement for Edson Alvarez this summer, but the Blues are not open to his exit.

They have received a £45m bid from the Hammers, but the Blues are quite clear that Santos won't be allowed to make way.

The hierarchy have already informed the same to the Hammer. They have told them to stop wasting time in their pursuit.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are the regular starters for the Blues in midfield, but Santos could get minutes off the bench.

The 21-year-old has no plans to leave despite his squad status.
