Chelsea to move for Nathan Ake in January?

Chelsea could make an approach for Manchester City defender Nathan Ake during the January transfer window.
The Blues suffered a huge setback earlier this summer with Levi Colwill undergoing surgery for an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury.
Despite this, the west London giants did not pursue a replacement in the transfer market, having already signed Jorrel Hato from Ajax.
However, the club could explore a new solution at the turn of the year.
The Blues are monitoring the situation of Ake who has fallen out of favour at Manchester City amid the increasing competition for places.
Ake is no longer an assured starter in central defence while he has fallen behind new signing Rayan Ait Nouri for the left-back position.
Caught Offside claim that he could be allowed to leave for at least £15 million.
Chelsea are interested in a reunion with their former player but could face competition from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
