Arsenal confident of agreeing new deal with winger
Arsenal are confident of agreeing a new contract with star winger Bukayo Saka, according to The Independent.
The England international is presently sidelined with a fresh hamstring injury and could be sidelined for another month.
Despite this, he continues to be highly valued by the hierarchy, and the club are eager to sort out his future as soon as possible.
The Independent claim that negotiations are underway with the winger and his representative over a deal beyond June 2027.
There is confidence among all parties, and Saka looks poised to become the highest earner at the Gunners in the near future.
Aside from Saka, the Gunners are also negotiating fresh terms with William Saliba. His contract also expires in the summer of 2027.
Saliba has already hinted that a renewal is close and we should get a further update on his future as the campaign progresses.
The Frenchman picked up an ankle injury in the recent loss at Liverpool, but could make his comeback after the international break.
