Chelsea handed big injury boost for Bayern clash
Chelsea have been handed a big injury boost ahead of the Champions League curtain-raiser against Bayern Munich on the road.
The Blues played out a frustrating 2-2 draw against Brentford in the Premier League last weekend and will be aiming to return to winning ways on Wednesday night.
Ahead of the game, they have received a timely boost with Estevao Willian back in training. The Brazilian wonderkid missed the recent London derby due to minor illness.
The teenager looks to have recovered in time for the Munich trip and it remains to be seen whether he will travel with the squad to face the Bavarian giants this week.
Chelsea have suffered untimely absences in the early part of the campaign. Liam Delap is out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained against Fulham last month.
Cole Palmer was also sidelined for two games with a groin problem, but he made a terrific comeback against the Bees last weekend, scoring a decisive goal in the 2-2 stalemate.
