Man Utd make Angelo Stiller transfer decision

Angelo Stiller news

Man Utd won't sign Stiller in January

Manchester United are unlikely to pursue a winter deal for Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, according to Teamtalk journalist Dean Jones.

The Red Devils were linked with a deadline day move for the Germany international, but Stuttgart closed the door on his departure.

Stiller has continued to be associated with the Mancunian giants, but Jones insists that a mid-season deal for the 24-year-old is unlikely.

A number of Bundesliga-based players have struggled in the Premier League. Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong are prime examples this term.

Stiller has been a brilliant defensive midfielder for Stuttgart, but he would need time to adapt to the demands of the Premier League.

Hence, United have no plans of making a winter approach for him, but they could return for the highly-rated midfielder over the summer.

For January, the Red Devils could focus on signing a Premier League-based midfielder, but it won't be an easy challenge for the club.

Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton have been linked, but none are expected to leave their respective teams in January.
