Arsenal lining up move for German striker?

Arsenal are one of the clubs that are closely monitoring German striker Nicolo Tresoldi amid his impressive progress with Club Brugge this campaign.

The 22-year-old had a productive debut season with Brugge last term, netting 23 goals and providing nine assists in 58 appearances in all competitions.

He has fared even better this campaign with 12 goals in just 14 games thus far and reports claim that he could be on the move as early as January.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on his progress since the back end of last season and seem prepared to make an approach at the turn of the year.

Brugge want to keep hold of his services until the summer, but the Belgian champions could be persuaded to sell if a huge offer were to arrive.

If Tresoldi were to join the Gunners, it could pave the way for the potential exit of Viktor Gyokeres, likely at the end of the ongoing campaign.

Atletico are among the main admirers of the Swede.
