Napoli make Kobbie Mainoo decision ahead of January

Napoli are reportedly keen on landing Kobbie Mainoo on a short-term loan deal from Manchester United this winter.
The Serie A giants recruited Rasmus Hojlund on loan from the Red Devils last summer and they have a conditional obligation to buy him.
The Naples outfit are now keen on landing Mainoo on a temporary basis amid the ongoing injury crisis under manager Antonio Conte.
However, a move may not be easy to pursue. Mainoo does not appear necessarily keen on a temporary switch at the start of the year.
He would prefer a permanent transfer instead, which could hamper Napoli's chances of signing the England international this winter.
It remains to be seen whether Napoli come up with a loan offer with a buy obligation based on appearances in the backend of the campaign.
Mainoo has also been linked with West Ham United and Everton, and he has no desire to join either club during the winter transfer window.
