Juventus snub Jesus-David swap proposal from Arsenal

Juventus have turned down the possibility of swapping Jonathan David with Gabriel Jesus on loan from Arsenal this winter.
Jesus recently returned to action after a long-term injury lay-off, but there is speculation over his future ahead of the New Year.
The Brazilian believes he has an outside chance of making the World Cup next summer with regular first-team football.
However, that is not a guarantee with the Gunners, given the competition from Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino as of now.
Kai Havertz is also expected to return before the New Year and Jesus may have to share his minutes with the quartet upfront.
Amidst this, the Gunners have proposed to swap him for David on loan. Manager Mikel Arteta is a big admirer of the latter.
However, the Bianconeri have snubbed the proposal made.
They don't wish to swap David for Jesus, whose physical fitness is uncertain and earns a more significant weekly salary.
