Michael Carrick news

Confirmed Man Utd XI vs Bournemouth tonight

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has named his starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Bournemouth on the road tonight.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways against Aston Villa at Old Trafford last weekend and will be eyeing another victory on the South Coast.

United are six points ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea and can boost their Champions League bid with another three points against the Cherries.

For tonight's game, Senne Lammens continues in goal for the Red Devils.

The United backline stays the same. Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw start in the full-back positions, while Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro continue in the heart of the defence.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo start in the centre of the park, while Bruno Fernandes will operate as the attacking midfielder. He has already made 16 league assists this term, just four shy of the competition record.

In the final third, Amad Diallo and Matheus Cunha start on the right and left wing respectively, while Bryan Mbeumo leads the line.

Benjamin Sesko scored for the fourth time off the bench last weekend. Despite this, he remains on the substitutes' bench for the club.

Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Bournemouth: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Yoro, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Cunha; Mbeumo.
