Man Utd make contact to sign Portuguese winger

Manchester United have formally contacted the representatives of AC Milan winger Rafael Leao ahead of a possible summer move.

The Portuguese has made the decision to leave the Rossoneri after seven seasons and reports claim that he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

Arsenal and United are said to be his preferred destinations and reports claim that the latter have established contact with the player's entourage.

Leao is currently focused on the World Cup campaign with Portugal and will sort out his future once he returns from the global tournament.

United are also looking Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, but may not afford him due to the hefty price tag of 100 million pounds set by the Villans.

On the other hand, Leao could be signed for a relatively reasonable fee with the Rossoneri prepared to sanction his sale for around 43 million pounds.

Milan missed out on Champions League football after failing to finish in the Serie A top four and are prepared to recoup funds from player sales.
