Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?

Chelsea could look at Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall as a replacement for Marc Cucurella, who is set to join Real Madrid this summer.

The Blues have reached a verbal agreement to sell Cucurella to Madrid for 52 million pounds and he will formally make the move after his involvement with Spain at the World Cup.

In the meantime, Chelsea have started the hunt for a replacement and reports claim that they are exploring a new solution from the Premier League.

Hall left the Blues for the Magpies a few years ago for regular first-team football, but he is open to a new challenge away from Tyneside.

The Englishman has been linked with Manchester United for some time, but it appears Chelsea could seek a reunion with their former graduate.

Newcastle are not exploring the sale of the 21-year-old, but reports claim that he could be permitted to leave for around 60 million pounds.

Chelsea could make an offer with Cucurella on his way out.
