Chelsea enter talks to sign Juventus full-back

Chelsea have entered talks with Juventus over the potential transfer of full-back Andrea Cambiaso, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Blues recently parted ways with Marc Cucurella. The left-back returned to Spain with Real Madrid in a deal worth £52 million.

There is also speculation that Malo Gusto could leave for the right price. The Frenchman is not considered an indispensable figure.

Amidst this, Corriere dello Sport reveal that the Blues have opened talks with the Bianconeri over Cambiaso, who can play in both full-back roles.

The Italian came close to joining Manchester City previously but ultimately stayed with the Bianconeri. He could now depart for a reduced fee.

Juventus need to balance their books before June 30 and want at least €40m. The Blues are reluctant to pay over €30m at the moment.

Talks are continuing between the clubs, and there is optimism that an agreement will be reached soon. Cambiaso is open to joining the Blues.
