Man City want Dario Srna

Man City boss Mark Hughes is believed to be ready to make an offer for Shakhtar Donetsk's versatile defender / midfielder Dario Srna this summer.

The Croatian international is one of the most highly rated players in the Ukrainian leagues and has been persistently linked with a move away from the club to one of the bigger leagues.

Now Man City could offer a massive £8 million to persuade Shakhtar into a swift sale.

Srna is expected to be a key member of Croatia's Euro 2008 campaign.
