Roma to make offer for Arsenal winger?

Roma could make an effort to land Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli after missing out on Alejandro Garnacho and Crysencio Summerville.

The Giallorossi were initially keen on landing Garnacho from Chelsea, but the Argentine instead moved to Aston Villa on an initial loan.

Summerville was likewise a target for the Serie A heavyweights, but Al-Hilal recently won the race to land his signature from West Ham United.

Roma are exploring alternative options in the transfer market, and reports claim that they could make an approach for Martinelli now.

The Brazilian is widely expected to be sold by the Gunners, considering the club are actively looking to land a marquee left-sided winger.

Arsenal have opened the door for Martinelli's exit since the beginning of July, and they are reportedly expecting some bids to come in.

The Gunners want at least £38m for the former Ituano youngster, who is said to be reluctant to move to the Saudi Pro League this summer.
