21yo Man Utd star returns early after hamstring injury

Manchester United ace Patrick Dorgu has returned early from international duty after picking up a hamstring injury yesterday.

The Denmark international suffered the setback against Wales yesterday, and he was substituted after just 30 minutes on the clock.

Following the game, Denmark head coach Brian Riemer confirmed the setback and that Dorgu will have to return home soon.

Dorgu was in superb form for United at the start of the year, but he picked up a serious hamstring injury which hampered his progress.

The 21-year-old has not been a regular in the United XI this campaign, but the latest setback is undoubtedly another blow for the Red Devils.

Luke Shaw has had fitness troubles from left-back this term, and Dorgu's absence means the club have no senior specialist back-up.

Noussair Mazraoui can comfortably play from the role as shown with Morocco, and he could have a prominent position going forward.

United host Tottenham Hotspur at home after the international break.
