Joao Pedro makes Chelsea future claim

Brazilian striker Joao Pedro has insisted that he is very comfortable at Chelsea during an interview with ESPN.

The 25-year-old has been a key player for the Blues since he arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion and has already netted five goals this campaign.

He is presently on the sidelines with a fresh knee issue and reports claim that he may not feature again for the Blues until after the international break.

Amidst this, Pedro has said that he is clearly comfortable at the west London giants and added that the new manager has given him a lot of confidence.

He said: "At Chelsea I feel very comfortable. It's a different season, with a coach who gives me a lot of confidence, and I think that's a big part of my performance so far this season."

Chelsea suffered a minor blip with a surprise loss to Tottenham Hotspur and will be aiming to return to winning ways against Liverpool on the road.

The Blues face the Reds in the Carabao Cup fourth round on Wednesday.
