Corluka praises Bilic

Croatia and Man City defender Vedran Corluka has praised Slaven Bilic after he completed a masterstroke by guiding the Croats to a 2-1 victory over Germany in Euro 2008.

"For us, Bilic is just perfect," he said.

"The Chelsea fans had a nickname for Jose Mourinho - 'the Special One' - but for us, Slaven Bilic is 'the Special One'.

"He gives us belief, but he also makes us relaxed. It was a great result against Germany, but we must not get ahead of ourselves.

"We must focus on the next game (against Poland on Monday). We must take it one game at a time and then we will see."
