Arshavin wants to leave Zenit
Russia midfielder Andrei Arshavin has admitted for the first time that he wants to leave UEFA Cup Winners, Zenit St Petersburg. Russian coach Dick Advocaat confirmed he would like to leave the club.
"Andrei has told us that he wishes to change clubs," Advocaat told reporters on Friday.
"At present in the way of offers it is quiet.
"The situation may well change after tomorrow's game against Holland for the national side."
When asked directly about Arsenal's reported interest, Advocaat replied: "What is written in newspapers is not always true."
