Wenger: Arsenal will still attack

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to change the side's attacking style of football, just because of a few disappointing results in the Premiership. Cracks in Arsenal's defence have begun to show over the last few weeks, and several media sources speculated that Wenger may change Arsenal's style of play.

"I believe it is the best way to win trophies," he said in the Daily Star Sunday.

"Who plays the best football? Brazil. So why should there be opposition to that style of play?

"We went to Fenerbahce, who had never lost a Champions League game at home, with a midfield of Under-21 players.

"You listen to the clubs in Italy and in France and find that Arsenal is their model.

"We have to be strong enough to keep on with the way we play and we can win the Premier League and the Champions League.

"I am confident because we have a very strong, united spirit and we want to do well."
