Wolfsburg win Bundesliga

VfL Wolfsburg have won their first ever Bundesliga title after a stunning 5-1 victory over Werder Bremen. The dynamic duo of Edin Dzeko and Grafite were both on the scoresheet yet again.

It was one of the most exciting seasons of all in the Bundesliga, with at times minnows Hoffenheim looking like they could win the title, and Bayern Munich seemingly hanging onto second spot for far too long.

Bayern's inability to capitalize on rivals' results saw the end for legend Jurgen Klinsmann, and all of the while Wolfsburg just kept picking up points.

After the 5-1 thrashing of Bremen, a clearly delighted Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath beamed: “It is a dream has come true. I knew we were good but I didn't think we had a chance to win the title.

“We've put in strong performances all season and I believe we deserved to win the championship.”
