Sunderland eye Vela move
New Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is hoping to use his relationship with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to positive effect at the Stadium of Light, firstly by making a move for Mexican international Carlos Vela on loan.
Vela has found his opportunities limited last season at the Gunners, and was merely on the fringes of the first-team squad.
However, a number of impressive displays when called upon has seen Vela the target of a number of clubs.
Sunderland are ready to pay £350,000 to take Vela on loan for the season from Arsenal.
