Chelsea in for Ribery?

Chelsea are believed to be ready to trump any Man Utd offer for France international Franck Ribery this summer. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the Bayern Munich man.

Man Utd are believed to be ready to pay as much as £40 million to bring the Frenchman to the club as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, however, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has instructed his board that he would like to make a bid for the winger.

Man Utd apparently failed in their initial bids for the player, and have since turned their attentions to Brazilian youngster Douglas Costa.
