Arsenal still chasing Kalou

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly told close friends that Salomon Kalou is his primary target this summer, should Emmanuel Adebayor leave the club, as expected. The Chelsea striker is set to fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Arsene Wenger will be ready to offer as much as £12 million to land the Ivory Coast international, and believes that the player is an ideal replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor has been linked with a move to Manchester City, and Kalou could well be the perfect replacement for the Togo international.
