Chelsea still hunting Young
Chelsea are still desperate to land Ashley Young, and have considered making an offer believed to be in the region of 25 million GBP for the England international.
Young had an outstanding season last year for Aston Villa, but has been very open about his desire to play for one of the Premiership's big four clubs.
Man Utd were also supposedly interested in Young but the signing of Obertan from Bordeaux, and Sir Alex Ferguson admitting United were closed for business, casts doubts over a Young transfer.
Chelsea could offer a contract worth around 125,000 GBP a week for Young.
