Tottenham boss eyes Cole move

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted that he will consider making a move for out of contract Chelsea midfield maestro Joe Cole when the player returns from international duty at the World Cup this summer.
We earlier reported that Arsenal were close to a move for the Chelsea man, but it appears Spurs will be ready to trump the Gunners' offer.
Redknapp said of the player to Soccernet: "I am prepared to declare my interest in Joe Cole, why not, he is a great player, his contract is up and he is on a free transfer."
"I have genuinely not spoken to Joe about coming to Spurs, he is at the World Cup and quite rightly he needs to concentrate on trying to win it with England. But when he returns I would love to talk to him about coming to Spurs."
