Demba Ba heading to Newcastle
West Ham striker Demba Ba is close to agreeing a move with Newcastle, according to reports. The player will be allowed to leave Upton Park as part of a relegation release clause.
It is believed that Ba will be allowed to leave the club for around 6m GBP.
The player will reportedly agree terms on Monday afternoon with the Toon.
"We are looking to complete on a number of deals over the next month or so," Newcastle boss Alan Pardew told the Shields Gazette.
"I am sure with the quality of signings I anticipate coming into the club, we should look forward to exciting times in the upcoming season as we look to establish the club as a genuine force in the top half of the Premier League."
