Wolves chase Jonny Evans

Wolves will offer £5m for Jonny Evans this summer, according to reports on Saturday morning. The player is being lined up by Wolverhampton boss Mick McCarthy who hinted he would be very busy this summer.

Evans is happy to stay at Old Trafford but admitted he would like more first team football, a move to Wolves has some appeal for the centre back.

The Northern Ireland international only made 12 appearances in the Premiership last season for United.
