Preview: Man City vs. Wolves
Man City boss Roberto Mancini will expect 3 points from this weekend's visit of Wolves, and continue an impressive start to the season that sees them 5 points clear at the top. Wolves, on the other hand, are under enormous pressure with fans booing their own team last weekend.
During midweek, Man City travelled to Molineux in the Carling Cup and gave Wolves a 5-2 drubbing, now it is the turn of Wolves to travel to Man City in the Premier League. For this game, Roberto Mancini is expected to recall most of the team that played in the 6-1 victory over Man Utd last weekend, and all statistics point to another big win for the Blues.
Mick Mccarthy couldn't have picked a worse opponent for his side to stop the rot, as he takes his team to the Etihad Stadium with a Man City side in full spirits.
Man City this year are unbeaten at home, whilst Wolves have not won at Man City in over 11 years. Wolves have not won a Premier League game in their last seven.
TEAMS
Man City are expected to ring the changes from their midweek win over Wolves in the Carling Cup, and Edin Dzeko is expected to drop to the bench and Sergio Aguero will partner Mario Balotelli up front. Owen Hargreaves is unavailable as he recovers from a minor injury.
Meanwhile, for Wolves, Steven Fletcher is unavailable and Sylvain Ebanks-Blake is expected to start.
