Arsenal midfielder poised for summer exit
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta could leave the club to re-join Everton during the summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old has recently admitted that he doesnot enjoy his life as a professional footballer in recent years, and this could tempt him into a return to the Toffees this summer.
With the Gunners still to open up talks over a new deal with Arteta, the Toffees boss Roberto Martinez could make a bid to bring the midfielder back to Goodison Park as a potential replacement for on-loan midfielder Gareth Barry at the end of the season.
The midfielder’s performances have been below-par considering Arsenal standards this season, and is deemed to have a major part to play in the club's slump in the latter stages of the Premier League campaign.
Arteta joined the Gunners in the summer of 2011.
