Newcastle open to Loic Remy bid
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is open to a move for Loic Remy after the forward's transfer to Liverpool fell through. Remy has returned for pre-season training with QPR.
Harry Redknapp has said that the player is looking to move elsewhere and Remy has already insisted that he enjoyed his spell at the Toon Army last season.
When Pardew was asked about a potential move for the Frenchman, he responded: “I didn’t expect that to happen (Remy), I thought that deal was sealed and done which I’m sure the agent and player thought as well so I’m surprised that the medical team had a problem.
“We are monitoring things as we go and it’s difficult when you ask questions about one player because I thought our young players were terrific.”
