Victor Valdes stops training at Man Utd
Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has apparently ended his training stint at Manchester United, according to a report.
The 32-year-old, who left Barcelona at the end of the previous season, has spent the past few months training with the Manchester outfit, in order to recuperate from a serious knee injury.
Reports earlier had claimed that manager Louis van Gaal could sign the veteran star on a free transfer once he regains full fitness.
However, Eurosport reports that the Spain international has opted to leave the club, as he is unlikely to force his way into the first-team with fellow countryman David de Gea pulling the strings in recent weeks.
Liverpool are understood to be monitoring the proceedings.
