Coleman not on Bayern focus - Ancelotti

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed suggestions that his side could sign Everton's Seamus Coleman as a replacement for Philipp Lahm in the summer.

Lahm, 33, is due to call quits on his professional career in the summer, and this has put the Bavarian giants on the search for a quality replacement.

Coleman, who joined Everton from Sligo Rovers for a mere £60,000 in 2009, has been earning the plaudits for his impressive showing at right-back over the years, and this had recently linked him with a move to Bayern.

Prior to his side's Champions League thumping of Arsenal, Ancelotti was posed with a question on the player's interest to which he responded with a conclusive: "No"

Bayern Munich cruised through to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League following their 5-1 rout of Arsenal in the last 16, second-leg, an aggregate 10-2 win over their north London counterparts.

The German champions are also in cruise control of the league as they hold a seven-point lead over second-placed RB Leipzig with just 11 games to go.
