Roy Keane speaks on Liverpool's title prospects
Manchester United Roy Keane believes Liverpool are set to win their maiden Premier League title following their 3-1 triumph over Manchester City on Sunday.
The Merseyside giants registered a comfortable victory over the Citizens over the weekend and they are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane believes the Reds are on course to win their first league title in three decades after getting the better of Pep Guardiola's side in their home patch.
"I'm not a betting man, but I think it's done. They've got great momentum. Can there be injuries? Of course, that's part of being part of a great club," he told Sky Sports.
Liverpool return from the international break with an away game at Crystal Palace and they should fancy another victory to keep the pressure on the challengers.
Leicester City and Chelsea are currently the closest competitors with an eight-point gap. Manchester City are right behind the duo with a one-point deficit.
