Man Utd open to permanent transfer of Spaniard?

Reguilon to Man Utd on permanent deal?

Manchester United are open to the permanent transfer of Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur, according to AS.

The left-back joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan on deadline day this summer following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

The 26-year-old has since made three appearances for the club in all competitions and has been impressive in each of those games.

His performances have grabbed the attention of manager Erik ten Hag and AS claim that the former Real Madrid man could stay permanently.

At the moment, United don't have any option to purchase him. His loan contract will formally expire at the end of the current campaign.

However, Spurs are likely to open the door for his departure as he is currently behind Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies in the pecking order.

Spurs paid around £25m to sign the Spaniard from Los Blancos few years ago and they will want to recoup the entire transfer fee from United.
