Arsenal to push for £60m striker deal in January

Arsenal will push to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The England international has been long linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners were contemplating an approach earlier this year, but their plans changed after his betting ban.
Toney is currently suspended from playing until mid-January but Mirror claim that the Gunners could step up their pursuit of his services when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Bees consider the 27-year-old as a key part of their plans, but they are prepared to offload him for around £60 million. He would be a perfect addition to the Gunners ranks in our view.
Toney has the physical and aerial presence to threaten opposition defenders and he also has an eye for goal. He would be an upgrade on Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus in the number nine role.
Chelsea are also keen on landing his signature in the next window, but Arsenal could have the edge over them if they qualify for the round of 16 stage of the Champions League.
