Haaland: eventual Spain move on the cards?

Erling Haaland could be moving away from Man City, if reports from FourFourTwo are to be believed, as the Norwegian striker appears to be have purchased some property in Madrid. Whilst links to Real Madrid have long been mentioned, no official offer has been received by City, and Haaland is said to be very happy at the Cityzens.

Having scored 34 goals for City last year, Haaland is an in-demand striker, and Real Madrid have been seeking a new forward since reports of a move for Kylian Mbappe emerged 18 months ago. Haaland is apparently unavailable for transfer.

It is understood that Haaland requested that a minimum fee release clause be inserted in his contract with Man City when he first joined, but the number is unknown. Rumours suggest that it could be as much as 300 million euros, a number that Real Madrid would apparently be willing to spend to sign the world's best forward.

And it seems that, with Haaland buying property in Spain, the striker would certainly be open to an eventual move to Iberia.
