Bellamy back to North East?

Craig Bellamy is all set for a dramatic return to the North East, nope, not to Newcastle, but to their bitter rivals Sunderland. Steve Bruce is keen to sign the 30-year old from Man City.

The Welsh striker had been out of favour at Man City after the signing of Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz with Emmanuel Adebayor to follow. Man City had paid £14m to sign him from West Ham last January.

The move, if done, will make Sunderland the ninth club of his professional career.
