Aston Villa plan Milner raid
Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is plotting a move for former Villain James Milner, according to reports on Sunday morning. The Man City player will be allowed to leave if £15 million is offered.
McLeish has promised that he will find the best possible replacement for Ashley Young, who joined Manchester United last week for £19 million.
At £15 million, Milner represents a £3 million profit received for Villa, who sold the player last year to Man City for £18 million.
One thing that stands in the way is Milner's salary demands, believed to be in the region of £90,000 a week.
