Tottenham star suffers hamstring tear

Tottenham look set to lose Rafael van der Vaart for some time after the Dutch midfielder tore his hamstring during the game with Manchester City at the weekend.

The midfielder has now been withdrawn from the Netherlands' games with Finland and San Marino.



Redknapp confirmed in a press conference that van der Vaart will be out with the injury; this may see them without the midfielder for up to 2 months.



Tottenham will sign Scott Parker this week and hope that he can be a suitable replacement whilst the Dutchman is recovering.
