QPR make official offer for Samba

QPR make official offer for Samba

11 January 2012 - 08:46

Queens Park Rangers are understood to have made their first official offer for Blackburn defender Christopher Samba, believed to be worth around 6.25m GBP. QPR manager Mark Hughes has put Samba and Didier Drogba at the top of his wishlist.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Spurs, Gilchrist starts
  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs

  • Samba has been an important first team player for Blackburn since arriving from Hertha Berlin, and Rovers are desperate to keep hold of the centre back until the end of the year.

However, QPR are ready to pay the centre back an estimated 100,000 GBP per week, and Samba is already unhappy at Ewood Park.

QPR are waiting for an official response from Blackburn.
