West Brom manager Roy Hodgson will wait until the end of the season to discuss a new contract with the club, as he firstly concentrates on guaranteeing Premier League survival for next year.
Hodgson has been a surprise candidate to take the vacant England job role, vacated since Fabio Capello stepped down last month.<br />
"I've said to the chairman [Jeremy Peace] it would be nice if we can make certain we are on safe ground if we are to talk about the future," Hodgson said.<br />
"I can't give them the guarantee because I haven't signed a new contract.<br />
"But there is no reason for them to be concerned about that."<br />
