Carlton Cole to quit West Ham?

West Ham United striker Carlton Cole could be allowed to leave the Hammers this month, since the arrivals of Wellington and Marouane Chamakh. The striker is reportedly angry with reports that he is free to leave Upton Park.

Club officials have been discussing with his representatives over a potential move away from the Hammers, as both Reading and Norwich pursue his signature.<br />

The striker has fallen further down the pecking order since the arrival of Chamakh, as manager Sam Allardyce reportedly prefers the Frenchman to Carlton.<br />

With Andy Carroll expected to return from injury in the coming weeks, Cole will slip even further down the pecking order.
