Adel Taarabt Eager To Join Marseille

QPR attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed his willingness to grab any chance thrown his way to join Marseille this summer. The 23-year-old is believed to be prepared for a club exit this summer, following QPR’s relegation to the Championship.

  • According to Sky Sports, the club were earlier willing to agree on a loan deal for the player as they were reluctant to sell him but it is believed that the club could now sanction a permanent deal for Taarabt, as they are looking to offload some of the highest earners.<br />

    The Ligue 1 club, Marseille, have been reportedly contemplating on an offer for the 23-year-old, although there has been no official move by them.<br />

    The Moroccan is delighted by the prospect of a move to Marseille, a club that he claims to be a supporter of since his younger days.<br />

    "The club of my heart? OM”, he told in an interview.<br />

    "I have not had a direct contact, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me.<br />

    "If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported."<br />

    Taarabt has made 150 league appearances for the club, and scored 34 goals for them.
