Adel Taarabt Eager To Join Marseille

QPR attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed his willingness to grab any chance thrown his way to join Marseille this summer. The 23-year-old is believed to be prepared for a club exit this summer, following QPR’s relegation to the Championship.

According to Sky Sports, the club were earlier willing to agree on a loan deal for the player as they were reluctant to sell him but it is believed that the club could now sanction a permanent deal for Taarabt, as they are looking to offload some of the highest earners.

The Ligue 1 club, Marseille, have been reportedly contemplating on an offer for the 23-year-old, although there has been no official move by them.

The Moroccan is delighted by the prospect of a move to Marseille, a club that he claims to be a supporter of since his younger days.

"The club of my heart? OM”, he told in an interview.

"I have not had a direct contact, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me.

"If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported."

Taarabt has made 150 league appearances for the club, and scored 34 goals for them.
