Benni Mccarthy has been in outstanding form of late and will be keen to continue his goalscoring streak, whilst Liverpool will need to pick up three points as they aim to stay in touch with the big two at the top. Blackburn have won their last 7 games, whilst Liverpool remain undefeated.
David Bentley (shin) and Aaron Mokoena (leg) are expected to be included in the Blackburn squad despite picking up injuries against Portsmouth in midweek.
