Senior Man Utd players angry with Wayne Rooney

Manchester United stars Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Ryan Giggs are reportedly frustrated with the behaviour of striker Wayne Rooney. The England international has put his long term future at Old Trafford in doubt and is reportedly ready to ask for a transfer.

  • Chelsea are desperate to regain the Premier League title for the upcoming new season and have already spent big on the likes of Marco van Ginkel and Andre Schurrle. Chelsea owner Roman Abrahmovich will stop at nothing to secure the signing of Rooney, and is hopeful a deal can be agreed with United in the coming weeks.



    Rooney himself is known to be willing to stay at United, but only if he is guaranteed first team football at Old Trafford. With Robin van Persie inspirational last year as United won the league title, it is expected that the Dutchman.



    Chelsea are hopeful that the signing of Rooney will offer the added impetus needed to push for the league title.
