Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Everton defender Leighton Baines, reports The Sunday People.
The report claims that the talented England International left-back has placed doubts over where his future will lie, having been rejected a switch to the Red Devils during the summer transfer window.
Manchester United boss David Moyes is set to make a renewed bid for the talented left-back when the transfer window reopens in January.
However, Tottenham Hotspur are keeping track of the player's status at the club and could make a bid with Daniel Levy happy to offer the transfer funds.
