Manchester United to let Wilfried Zaha leave on loan in January

06 October 2013 - 12:45

20-year-old wonderkid Wilfried Zaha has been told that he can leave Old Trafford on loan in the January transfer window. The former Crystal Palace winger has already attracted the interest of his previous club as well as Stoke City and Fulham.

  • Zaha has yet to force his way into David Moyes' Premier League first teams this season, with the likes of Nani and Ashley Young preferred to the England international. Moyes has been in two minds about whether or not to keep Zaha at Old Trafford and playing reserve team football, but after consulting with the youngster it appears Moyes has decided to let Zaha join another Premier League team on loan.

Numerous clubs are believed to have expressed some interest in the youngster should he become available. Crystal Palace are an obvious choice for his signature, having already approached United for a loan deal during the summer. Meanwhile Premier League strugglers Fulham and Stoke City are also interested as they struggle to find goals so far this season.

United are ready to let Zaha leave for a nominal fee and it is expected that a deal will be wrapped up in the first week of January.
